CHALLENGE 2 - B&W architecture
For the second week, the topic is Black and White Architecture.
The rules for this challenge are:
- Architecture photography, so it must contain any building, monument, or something similar pretty relevant.
- It has to be taken in black and white.
- We will have to use the ND filter. (Because the three of us have it, and we want it to try it)
- Photoshop is allowed.
- Time frame: 7 days.
Update:
For this challenge, more than the weather, the clouds were the key. The three of us were looking for a partially cloudy sky to get that fancy effect of the filter.
This is the result:

Cool, right?
Well, it seems that we got a good variety and styles over here.
The first one, modern architecture with a minimalist composition.
The second one, we can see a symmetric composition of two sky scrapers, that gives you a dizzy effect, and pretty dramatic.
And the last one, really dramatic photo of a neo-gothic cathedral.
Who do you think will be the winner of this second challenge?
Update:
Javi: Minimalist building
Aitor: Skyscrapers
Unai: Cathedral
It seems that the judge had a really hard time, but finally he has decided for.... Aitor's picture! the skyscraper photo!
For two weeks in a row, the winner is Aitor. So, again, he will have to chose the next topic and rules for next week.
We will see pretty soon what is all about!
