AITOR godoy / "aitor rogo"
Let me introduce myself, I am Aitor (I-tore...a piece of paper), born in the north of Spain, exactly in the Bay of Bidasoa 27 years ago. Currently I am permanently living in the midwest United States, in St. Louis City, Missouri.
Since I was little--but big enough to be able to push buttons, I started bothering everybody around with cameras. Every trip, hike, or any opportunity I had, I could take thousands of pictures. In general, all of them were pretty bad, basically because I didn't have any idea of what I was doing. To be honest, I couldn't afford to have a nice camera to learn with. In 2013 my path would change. Finally I got the opportunity to get my first DLSR camera, and from the first day I haven't stopped learning. Online tutorials, walks around the park, a lot of bad pictures, mini urban trips around St. Louis almost dying because of the cold... all of the experiences are important and are the ones that are improving my pictures. I consider myself a rookie still in my new hobby, but that's why I like to go out a lot with my camera, looking for a reason to take pictures. I am really excited to continuously learn new techniques and to finally get some really great pictures that people will love. javi / "Hahbee"
Hi, my name is Javier Ortega (pronounced "Hah-bee"), I am Catalan, from Badalona (Barcelona) and I am 28 years old.
My love of photography comes by a story in Roma.April of 2010, I travel and I went to visit the city, until it finishes at La Fontana Di Trevi, says the legend that if you roll a currency back to the source, you will return to the city, if you roll two, will meet someone in the city and if three stripsyou will find love in it. As I was with my girl, just throw a lol, well... I didn't believe in that, is when I return to Barcelona I didn't at all return to Rome... it was at the end of 2010 when I purchased a camera SLR and was when I started to learn with Cattail and make better photos when I thought: cool would return to Rome knowing make good pictures...... Magic?...Today, I've come a long way in photography and I am putting me to learn well using photoshop, I have not yet gone to Rome..., but soon I will ask it in a challenge. now only need to win one... get it? To thank my great friend Moises Batista for helping me so much in my progress. The no had both progressed. My camera: Nikon D7000 My lenses: Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 G-ED | Nikkor 50mm f1.4 G | Nikkor 105mm f2 DC |
UNAI PARADA / "cowboy stop"
Hi, I'll introduce myself, my name is Unai, I'm Basque (from Gipuzkoa specifically) and I am 33 years old.
You could say that I entered into the photography world because of, or thanks to, Javi. There in June 2011 I bought my camera to explore the world of video shorts but without any intention to focus on photography--it was never something that captured my attention. My interest in photography sparked when Javi posted amazing photos on Facebook. I already had the camera and lenses so nothing would interfere with giving it a try. And so I did--one sunny day in the Spring of 2012 I took my camera and tripod under my arm, I got on my bike, and I went to take my first photos. From that day on, photography changed from one of my hobbies to frequently looking at photography blogs and websites trying to learn as much as possible about this new world. For now, I believe my level is medium/low, but I try with every challenge to make it difficult for these two guys above. My camera: Canon EOS 7D My lenses: Tokina 11-16mm f2,8 AT-X PRO DX | Canon EF-S 17-85mm f4,0-5,6 IS USM | Canon EF 50mm f1.8 |
